Training Location
SMA’s East Coast location features a hands on-training lab and learning facility in Arkansas—just 30 minutes outside of Conway and a short drive from the state capital, Little Rock. Located in the “Natural State,” this site combines accessibility with a peaceful setting, away from the distractions of city life. Conway, known as the “City of Colleges” and ranked among U.S. News & World Report’s top 100 places to live, provides an exceptional environment for learning. The lab’s convenient proximity to hotels and restaurants further enhances the training experience, offering the ideal blend of comfort and focus.
Lead Trainer
James Windsor is a United States Air Force veteran with over 30 years of experience in power generation. Since 1998, he has specialized in the installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, and management of utility-scale and commercial solar facilities and equipment. James is the founding partner of Mountain Ridge Energy Service LLC and plays an active role in managing Field Operations. He also serves as the lead instructor at SMA’s only East Coast training lab, based in Arkansas.
